Homecoming: Season 2
Homecoming released back in November 2018, the thriller-mystery was led by Julia Roberts who managed daily operations of the Homecoming program created by a wellness company. Amazon’s latest installment to its thriller series is set to release later this month. Although Julia Roberts won’t be returning, Janelle Monáe is taking over as the main character. The new season will follow a woman who wakes up in a boat without any memory of how she got there or who she is, leading her to a strange wellness company that’s connected to the Homecoming Initiative.
Another noteworthy release on Prime is Upload, from Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks, and Recreation). It’s about a young man named Nathan (played by Robbie Amell) who lives through a near-death experience and decides to upload his consciousness into a curious, lavish “afterlife.” For release dates of those titles and everything new coming out this month on Prime, see the full list below.
