The New Yolk’s guide to everything new coming to Prime
July’s Highlights
Big Fish
Directed by Tim Burton, the film follows a son reconnecting with his cancer sickened father. We are introduced to the impatience Will (Ewan McGregor) harbors against his father, Edward Bloom’s (Albert Finney) imaginative recounts of the past. Through their time spent at the end of Edward’s life, Will learns to understand those stories from the perspective of his father’s ambition for life. It’s a heartwarming story that is set in the south, blending fairy tales with reality.
