No one has time to find and sort through the new release category for good music. So find gems or the next hit song with our latest music release list. Each week’s music releases we will be spotlighting the best projects of the week. We have compiled a list of songs gathered from several outlets that focus on providing the latest releases along with upcoming dates. This week’s selection includes projects from Lil Peep, Margaux, Neon Indian, Milky Chance, Brainstory, Arthur Russel, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, and Joe Henry.

Lil Peep — Everybody’s Everything

Lil Peep’s Everybody’s Everything dropped today. The album shares the same title with a documentary about the late rapper’s life. The documentary released this week. The album has been described as a “lovingly-curated collection of songs from Lil Peep’s career.” It includes new songs along with fan favorite’s such as “Ghost Boy,” “Cobain,” and “White Tee.” Watch the trailer and listen to the album below.

Featured Song: “Princess,” “Cobain,” “LA to London”

Margaux — More Brilliant is the Hand that Throws the Coin

More Brilliant is the Hand that Throws the Coin, is an Indie rock gem. The 5 track EP is short but considering Margaux Bouchegnies plays “acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, upright bass, piano, keyboards, bottlecap, handbells, glockenspiel, and mellotron” on her new album, a lot of energy has been applied to this project. That is according to her Soundcloud. Along with the production, she also wrote and sang all her songs. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter is a Seattle native who’s now based in Brooklyn.

Featured Song: “Hot Faced,” “Cave In,” “Faced with Fire”

Neon Indian — “Toyota Man”

Neon Indian released a psych-cumbia single tackling the Mexican experience in America in their new track “Toyota Man.” The single was accompanied by a music video as well. Frontman Alan Palomo was born in Monterrey, Mexico where the band filmed the video along with locations in Nuevo Laredo, San Antonio, and Austin. The locations represent the path Palomo took to become a U.S. Citizen. Watch the video below.
